The BABAR Collaboration: P. del Amo Sanchez, et al.

TL;DR
This paper measures the CP-violating angle gamma using B meson decays and Dalitz plot analysis, providing evidence for direct CP violation with a significance of 3.5 sigma.
Contribution
It presents a novel measurement of gamma through a Dalitz plot analysis of multiple B decay channels, indicating direct CP violation.
Findings
Measured gamma as (68 ± 14 ± 4 ± 3) degrees
Result inconsistent with gamma=0 at 3.5 sigma significance
First evidence of direct CP violation in this decay mode
Abstract
We report the measurement of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa CP-violating angle through a Dalitz plot analysis of neutral meson decays to and produced in the processes , with , and with , using 468 million pairs collected by the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy collider at SLAC. We measure ({\rm mod }), where the first error is statistical, the second is the experimental systematic uncertainty and the third reflects the uncertainty in the description of the neutral decay amplitudes. This result is inconsistent with (no direct CP violation) with a significance of 3.5 standard deviations.
