Weak interaction contribution to the inclusive hadron-hadron scattering cross sections at high $p_T$
B.L. Ioffe

TL;DR
This paper shows that weak interactions significantly influence the high transverse momentum hadron production in proton-antiproton collisions, explaining observed deviations from expected scaling behavior at Tevatron energies.
Contribution
It is the first to identify and quantify the impact of weak interactions on inclusive hadron-hadron scattering cross sections at high energies.
Findings
Weak interactions cause observable scaling violations in high $p_T$ hadron production.
The weak interaction contribution increases with collision energy.
Weak effects become significant at Tevatron energy scales.
Abstract
It is demonstrated that the strong power-like scaling violation in the transverse momentum distribution of inclusive hadron production, observed by CDF Collaboration in collisions at Tevatron is caused by contribution of weak interaction. The contribution of weak interaction is increasing with energy at high energies.
