TL;DR
This paper investigates the compatibility of the G"{o}del universe with dynamical Chern-Simons modified gravity, revealing that a variable cosmological constant is necessary for consistency.
Contribution
It demonstrates the conditions under which the G"{o}del metric can be consistent within dynamical Chern-Simons gravity, emphasizing the role of a variable cosmological constant.
Findings
Compatibility requires a variable cosmological constant
G"{o}del metric can be consistent in this modified gravity
Highlights the importance of cosmological constant variability
Abstract
We study the condition for the consistency of the G\"{o}del metric with the dynamical Chern-Simons modified gravity. It turns out to be that this compatibility can be achieved only if the cosmological constant is variable in the space.
