Asymptotic analysis of a Selberg-type integral via hypergeometrics
Christian Krattenthaler (Universit\"at Wien)

TL;DR
This paper presents an asymptotic analysis of a Selberg-type integral using hypergeometric series techniques, offering an alternative derivation of a known result in the field.
Contribution
It introduces a novel method for deriving the asymptotics of Selberg-type integrals through hypergeometric series, expanding analytical tools available for such integrals.
Findings
Derived the asymptotics of a specific Selberg-type integral.
Provided an alternative proof to a known result by Carré et al.
Demonstrated the applicability of hypergeometric series in asymptotic analysis.
Abstract
We show how to determine the asymptotics of a certain Selberg-type integral by means of tools available in the theory of (generalised) hypergeometric series. This provides an alternative derivation of a result of Carr\'e, Deneufch\^atel, Luque and Vivo [arXiv:1003.5996].
