Lineshapes in Nuclear Forward Scattering Frequency Spectra
A. I. Rykov

TL;DR
This paper introduces a novel method utilizing nuclear forward scattering of synchrotron radiation to analyze particle size distribution, specifically using the Weibull-Gnedenko model to relate spectral lineshapes to PSD.
Contribution
It proposes a new approach for PSD analysis based on NFS lineshape analysis with Weibull-Gnedenko distribution, advancing spectral interpretation techniques.
Findings
Demonstrates the relationship between NFS lineshape and PSD.
Uses Weibull-Gnedenko distribution to model particle sizes.
Provides a framework for PSD estimation from NFS spectra.
Abstract
A new method for investigating the particle size distribution (PSD) is suggested using the nuclear forward scattering (NFS) of synchrotron radiation. The distribution of Weibull-Gnedenko is used to illustrate the relationship between the NFS lineshape and PSD.
