The quark-meson coupling model and chiral symmetry
Koichi Saito

TL;DR
This paper extends the quark-meson coupling model to include chiral symmetry, exploring its implications for nuclear potentials and connecting it with chiral perturbation theory.
Contribution
It introduces a chiral-symmetric extension of the QMC model and discusses its relationship with chiral perturbation theory.
Findings
Nuclear central potential is modified by nucleon internal structure.
The extended QMC model incorporates chiral symmetry principles.
Connections between the QMC model and chiral perturbation theory are established.
Abstract
We extend the quark-meson coupling (QMC) model to incorporate chiral symmetry. The relationship between the QMC model and chiral perturbation theory is also discussed. The nuclear central potential is modified by the effect of internal structure of nucleon.
