Importance of Sources using the Repeated Fusion Method and the Proportional Conflict Redistribution Rules #5 and #6
Florentin Smarandache (UNM), Jean Dezert (ONERA)

TL;DR
This paper explains how to manually compute the PCR5 fusion rule for three sources and emphasizes the significance of source importance, offering insights into their role beyond traditional discounting methods.
Contribution
It provides detailed examples of PCR5 computation and highlights the importance of source significance in fusion processes, expanding understanding beyond classical discounting.
Findings
Manual computation examples for PCR5 rule
Highlighting the role of source importance
Distinguishing importance from discounting
Abstract
We present in this paper some examples of how to compute by hand the PCR5 fusion rule for three sources, so the reader will better understand its mechanism. We also take into consideration the importance of sources, which is different from the classical discounting of sources.
