Comment on: "New exact solutions for the Kawahara equation using Exp-function method"
Nikolai A. Kudryashov

TL;DR
This paper critically examines previously claimed exact solutions to the Kawahara equation, demonstrating that they do not satisfy the equation and thus are incorrect, highlighting the importance of solution validation.
Contribution
It provides a rigorous analysis showing that all nontrivial solutions proposed by Assas are invalid, correcting the record on solutions to the Kawahara equation.
Findings
All solutions by Assas do not satisfy the Kawahara equation
Previous solutions are incorrect and invalid
Highlights the need for proper validation of exact solutions
Abstract
Exact solutions of the Kawahara equation by Assas [L.M.B. Assas, J. Com. Appl. Math. 233 (2009) 97--102] are analyzed. It is shown that all solutions do not satisfy the Kawahara equation and consequently all nontrivial solutions by Assas are wrong.
