$B \to K_0^*(1430) K$ decays in the perturbative QCD approach
Xin Liu, Zhen-jun Xiao

TL;DR
This paper calculates the branching ratios of B to K0*(1430) K decays using perturbative QCD at leading order, providing predictions consistent with existing data and highlighting the importance of annihilation contributions.
Contribution
It presents the first leading order pQCD predictions for B to K0*(1430) K decays in two scalar meson scenarios, including the role of annihilation effects.
Findings
Predictions agree with experimental upper limits for some decay modes.
Annihilation contributions are significant, especially in certain decay channels.
Results will be tested by future LHC experiments.
Abstract
In this article, we calculate the branching ratios of decays by employing the perturbative QCD (pQCD) approach at leading order. We perform the evaluations in the two scenarios for the scalar meson spectrum. We find that (a) the leading order pQCD predictions for the branching ratio which is in good agreement with the experimental upper limit in both scenarios, while the pQCD predictions for other considered decay modes are also presented and will be tested by the LHC experiments; (b) the annihilation contributions play an important role in these considered decays, for decays, for example, which are found to be .
