V. F. Kharchenko, A. V. Kharchenko

TL;DR
This paper derives a simple analytical formula for the electric dipole polarizability of three-hadron bound systems with one stable state, and applies it to estimate the triton's polarizability.
Contribution
It introduces a new analytical expression for the polarizability of three-hadron systems, neglecting higher orbital components, and demonstrates its application to the triton.
Findings
Estimated the triton's electric dipole polarizability using the new formula.
Validated the approach with a cluster wave function and Hulthen potential.
Provided a simplified method for calculating polarizability in three-hadron systems.
Abstract
A simple analytical expression for the electric dipole polarizability of the three-hadron bound system having only one stable bound state has been derived neglecting by the higher orbital components of the off-shell three-body transition matrix at the energy of the bound state. As a case in point, we have estimated the electric dipole polarizability of the triton, using a cluster triton wave function and the Hulthen potential to describe the related p-n and n-d bound states.
