M. Blasone, F. Dell'Anno, S. De Siena, F. Illuminati

TL;DR
This paper investigates the role of entanglement in neutrino mixing and oscillations, analyzing single-particle entanglement within both quantum mechanics and quantum field theory frameworks.
Contribution
It provides a detailed comparison of entanglement in neutrino mixing using quantum mechanics and quantum field theory, highlighting new insights into particle oscillations.
Findings
Entanglement is present in neutrino mixing scenarios.
Quantum Field Theory offers a more comprehensive description of entanglement.
Results enhance understanding of quantum correlations in particle physics.
Abstract
We report on recent results about entanglement in the context of particle mixing and oscillations. We study in detail single-particle entanglement arising in two-flavor neutrino mixing. The analysis is performed first in the context of Quantum Mechanics, and then for the case of Quantum Field Theory.
