TL;DR
This paper calculates next-to-leading order QCD corrections for W+W- production at the LHC within the Randall-Sundrum model, showing significant effects on distributions and reduced scale uncertainties.
Contribution
It provides the first detailed NLO QCD correction calculations for W+W- production in the Randall-Sundrum model at the LHC.
Findings
QCD corrections significantly affect kinematic distributions.
Inclusion of NLO effects reduces factorization scale uncertainty.
The corrections are essential for precise theoretical predictions.
Abstract
We present next-to-leading order QCD corrections to production of two bosons at the LHC in the Randall-Sundrum model. Various kinematical distributions are obtained to order in QCD by taking into account all the parton level subprocesses. We estimate the impact of the QCD corrections on various observables and find that they are significant. We also show the reduction in factorization scale uncertainty when effects are included.
