An alternative approach to the structure theory of PI-rings
Matej Bresar

TL;DR
This paper presents a straightforward approach to the structure theory of prime PI-rings, focusing on Posner's theorem, by utilizing properties of the extended centroid.
Contribution
It introduces a simple, direct method for analyzing prime PI-rings, offering new insights into their structure through the extended centroid.
Findings
Simplifies the proof of Posner's theorem
Highlights the role of the extended centroid in PI-ring structure
Provides a more accessible approach to prime PI-ring analysis
Abstract
We expose a rather simple and direct approach to the structure theory of prime PI-rings ("Posner's theorem"), based on fundamental properties of the extended centroid of a prime ring.
