Area spectrum of slowly rotating black holes
Yun Soo Myung

TL;DR
This paper derives equally spaced area spectra for slowly rotating Kerr and BTZ black holes using Maggiore's idea and Kunstatter's method, contributing to quantum gravity understanding.
Contribution
It introduces a novel application of Maggiore's idea with Kunstatter's method to compute the area spectrum of slowly rotating black holes.
Findings
Area spectra are equally spaced for Kerr and BTZ black holes.
Method combines Maggiore's idea with Kunstatter's approach.
Results support quantum properties of black hole horizons.
Abstract
We investigate the area spectrum for rotating black holes which are Kerr and BTZ black holes. For slowly rotating black holes, we use the Maggiore's idea combined with Kunstatter's method to derive their area spectra, which are equally spaced.
