A Common Proper Motion Companion to the Exoplanet Host 51 Pegasi
J. Greaves

TL;DR
This paper reports the discovery of a common proper motion companion to the exoplanet host star 51 Pegasi, including a red dwarf and two distant stars sharing a common Galactic orbit, indicating a shared origin.
Contribution
The study identifies multiple co-moving stars with 51 Pegasi, revealing a broader stellar association and providing insights into its formation history.
Findings
51 Pegasi has a red dwarf companion at wide separation.
Two additional stars share common proper motion with 51 Pegasi.
These stars likely share a common Galactic origin.
Abstract
The exoplanet host 51 Pegasi has a widely separated red dwarf companion. Two other, far more distant, stars are also co-moving with this star, showing that they are at least of common Galactic orbit due to a common origin.
