Yongqing Huang, Anzhong Wang, and Qiang Wu

TL;DR
This paper investigates the stability of de Sitter spacetime within Horava-Lifshitz gravity, revealing that the spin-0 graviton remains stable and ghost-free under certain conditions, contrasting with Minkowski background results.
Contribution
It demonstrates the stability and ghost-free conditions of the spin-0 graviton in de Sitter spacetime in Horava-Lifshitz gravity without detailed balance.
Findings
Spin-0 graviton is stable for any be in de Sitter background.
The graviton is free of ghosts for be a0 0 in the infrared limit.
Contrasts with Minkowski background stability results.
Abstract
The stability of de Sitter spacetime in Horava-Lifshitz theory of gravity with projectability but without detailed balance condition is studied. It is found that, in contrast to the case of the Minkowski background, the spin-0 graviton now is stable for any given , and free of ghost for in the infrared limit, where is the dynamical coupling constant.
