Is it possible to relate MOND with Horava Gravity?
Juan M. Romero, R. Bernal-Jaquez, O. Gonzalez-Gaxiola

TL;DR
This paper introduces a scalar field theory with anisotropic scaling that connects MOND and Horava gravity, suggesting a possible unified framework in the limit where the dynamic exponent z approaches zero.
Contribution
The work proposes a new scalar field theory invariant under anisotropic transformations that links MOND with Horava gravity in a specific limit.
Findings
The scalar field theory exhibits symmetries similar to Horava gravity.
In the limit z=0, the equations match those of non-relativistic MOND.
Suggests a potential Horava-type gravity compatible with MOND.
Abstract
In this work we present a scalar field theory invariant under space-time anisotropic transformations with a dynamic exponet . It is shown that this theory possess symmetries similar to Horava gravity and that in the limit the equations of motion of the non-relativistic MOND theory are obtained. This result allow us to conjecture the existence of a Horava type gravity that in the limit is consistent with MOND.
