TL;DR
This paper investigates the origin of Hawking radiation by modeling a black hole slice with a density matrix and evolving it semiclassically to understand the underlying entropic mechanisms.
Contribution
It introduces a novel approach to analyze Hawking radiation through the evolution of a black hole's density matrix in semiclassical time.
Findings
Hawking radiation has an entropic origin.
The density matrix evolution reveals insights into black hole thermodynamics.
The approach offers a new perspective on black hole information.
Abstract
We describe a black hole slice by a density matrix and evolve the slice in semiclassical time to search for the origin of Hawking radiation.
