Matti Raasakka, Anca Tureanu

TL;DR
This paper investigates how UV/IR mixing phenomena persist in noncommutative quantum electrodynamics when using a Seiberg-Witten map, providing a detailed $ heta$-exact formulation with fermions.
Contribution
It derives a $ heta$-exact Seiberg-Witten map for noncommutative QED with fermions and demonstrates the continued presence of UV/IR mixing.
Findings
UV/IR mixing persists in noncommutative QED with fermions
Seiberg-Witten map can be formulated exactly in $ heta$-expansion
Extension of previous results to include fermionic matter
Abstract
We consider quantum electrodynamics in noncommutative spacetime by deriving a -exact Seiberg-Witten map with fermions in the fundamental representation of the gauge group as an expansion in the coupling constant. Accordingly, we demonstrate the persistence of UV/IR mixing in noncommutative QED with charged fermions via Seiberg-Witten map, extending the results of Schupp and You [1].
