TL;DR
This paper presents initial lattice simulation results exploring how the chiral properties of SU(3) gauge theory change with different numbers of massless flavors, using chiral perturbation theory.
Contribution
It provides new lattice data on the flavor dependence of chiral properties in SU(3) gauge theories beyond QCD.
Findings
Variation of chiral properties with flavor number observed
Chiral perturbation theory applied to analyze lattice data
Initial results suggest flavor-dependent behavior in SU(3) gauge theories
Abstract
We describe initial results by the Lattice Strong Dynamics (LSD) collaboration of a study into the variation of chiral properties of chiral properties of SU(3) Yang-Mills gauge theory as the number of massless flavors changes from to , with a focus on the use of chiral perturbation theory.
