Non-geometrical Compactifications with Few Moduli
Gianfranco Pradisi (Rome U., Tor Vergata, INFN, Rome2)

TL;DR
This paper explores string theory compactifications that are non-geometrical, aiming to produce four-dimensional models with fewer moduli, thereby addressing the moduli stabilization problem.
Contribution
It introduces novel non-geometrical compactification mechanisms to achieve models with reduced moduli in string theory.
Findings
Identification of non-geometrical compactification methods
Reduction of moduli in four-dimensional string models
Potential pathways for moduli stabilization
Abstract
The stabilization of moduli is one of the main problems in string theory. In this talk I will discuss some stringy mechanisms based on non-geometrical compactifications to obtain four dimensional models with a reduced number of moduli.
