Contribution
It offers a complete characterization of scattering data and demonstrates inverse scattering for Ryckman's class of Jacobi matrices, advancing understanding in spectral theory.
Findings
Complete solution to the scattering problem for Ryckman's Jacobi matrices
Characterization of scattering data for this class
Illustration of inverse scattering with examples
Abstract
We give a complete solution of the scattering problem for Jacobi matrices from a class which was recently introduced by E. Ryckman. We characterize the scattering data for this class and illustrate the inverse scattering on some simple examples.
