The Force Between Giant Magnons
Nick Dorey, Rui F. Lima Matos

TL;DR
This paper calculates the force and torque between widely separated Giant Magnons with various orientations on S^5, and introduces an effective Hamiltonian to describe their interactions in the slow-moving regime.
Contribution
It provides the first explicit computation of interactions between Giant Magnons with arbitrary orientations and proposes an effective Hamiltonian for their dynamics.
Findings
Derived explicit formulas for force and torque between Giant Magnons.
Proposed an effective Hamiltonian capturing Giant Magnon interactions.
Enhanced understanding of Giant Magnon dynamics in string theory.
Abstract
We compute the force and torque between well-separated, slowly-moving Giant Magnons with arbitrary orientations on S^5. We propose an effective Hamiltonian for Giant Magnons in this regime.
