TL;DR
This paper uses an SU(8) symmetry-based model respecting heavy quark symmetry to study baryon-meson interactions, predicting exotic baryons with negative charm quantum number through a coupled-channel unitary approach.
Contribution
It introduces a novel SU(8) symmetry model that treats heavy pseudo-scalars and vectors equally, predicting new exotic baryon states with negative charm.
Findings
Predicted exotic baryons with negative charm quantum number.
Identified poles in the scattering T-matrix corresponding to these states.
Supported the experimental claim of one such exotic state.
Abstract
Following a model based on the symmetry that treats heavy pseudo-scalars and heavy vector mesons on an equal footing, as required by heavy quark symmetry, we study the interaction of baryons and mesons in coupled channels within an unitary approach that generates dynamically poles in the scattering -matrix. We concentrate in the exotic channels with negative charm quantum number for which there is the experimental claim of one state.
