TL;DR
This paper employs the Kerr/CFT correspondence with two general ansatzs to compute the entropy of all known extremal stationary, axisymmetric black holes, showing a perfect match with the Bekenstein-Hawking entropy.
Contribution
It introduces two broad ansatzs that encompass all known extremal stationary, axisymmetric black holes for entropy calculation via Kerr/CFT correspondence.
Findings
The entropy from Cardy's formula matches Bekenstein-Hawking entropy.
The method applies to all known extremal stationary, axisymmetric black holes.
The approach considers only Einstein-Hilbert action contributions.
Abstract
We use the Kerr/CFT correspondence to calculate the entropy for all known extremal stationary and axisymmetric black holes. This is done with the help of two ansatzs that are general enough to cover all such known solutions. Considering only the contribution from the Einstein-Hilbert action to the central charge(s), we find that the entropy obtained by using Cardy's formula exactly matches with the Bekenstein-Hawking entropy.
