TL;DR
This paper presents algorithms for the fast, exact computation of Wigner matrices and demonstrates their application in a highly parallelized convolution code for beam-sky interactions.
Contribution
It introduces new algorithms that enable efficient, exact calculation of Wigner matrices and applies them to a parallel convolution method in astrophysics.
Findings
Achieved significant speedup in Wigner matrix computations.
Enabled large-scale, parallel convolution between beam and sky data.
Demonstrated practical application in astrophysical data analysis.
Abstract
Algorithms for the fast and exact computation of Wigner matrices are described and their application to a fast and massively parallel 4pi convolution code between a beam and a sky is also presented.
