NNLO corrections to semileptonic and hadronic B decays
Guido Bell

TL;DR
This paper reviews recent NNLO perturbative calculations for semileptonic and hadronic B decays, highlighting their impact on phenomenology, including branching ratios and CKM matrix element determinations.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive overview of NNLO corrections in B decays and discusses their implications for experimental measurements and theoretical predictions.
Findings
NNLO corrections significantly affect branching ratio predictions.
Improved theoretical precision in |V_ub| extraction.
Enhanced understanding of CP-averaged decay rates.
Abstract
We review recent progress in the perturbative calculations for semileptonic and hadronic B meson decays with an emphasis on the phenomenological implications of the next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO) corrections. Specifically, we consider CP-averaged branching ratios of tree-dominated B -> pi pi/pi rho/rho rho decays and the inclusive determination of |V_ub| from B -> X_u l nu.
