Multiple D$_p$-branes as a D$_{p+2}$-brane
M. Ali-Akbari, M. A. Ganjali

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates how the action of a D_{p+2}-brane can be derived from multiple D_p-branes in the large N limit, confirming theoretical expectations from matrix theory.
Contribution
It provides a detailed derivation of the D_{p+2}-brane action from N D_p-branes, including both BPS and non-BPS cases, validating the matrix theory prediction.
Findings
Derived D_{p+2}-brane action from D_p-branes in large N limit
Confirmed the relation for both BPS and non-BPS branes
Validated theoretical expectations from BFSS matrix theory
Abstract
From BFSS matrix theory considerations, it is expected that a single D-brane action can be obtained from N D-brane action in large N limit. We examine and confirm this expectation by working out the details of DBI and Chern-Simons terms of D-brane action from D-brane action. We show that the same relation works for non-BPS, as well as BPS branes
