T. Fernandez-Carames, A. Valcarce, J. Vijande

TL;DR
This paper provides a systematic analysis of four-quark charmonium states, including compact systems and meson-meson molecules, aiming to clarify the complex spectroscopy of charmonium above open-charm thresholds.
Contribution
It introduces a self-consistent framework for analyzing four-quark states and applies it to both compact and molecular configurations in charmonium spectroscopy.
Findings
Results clarify the nature of charmonium states above thresholds
Robust analysis distinguishes between different four-quark configurations
Framework aids future experimental and theoretical studies
Abstract
We present a systematic and selfconsistent analysis of four-quark charmonium states and applied it to study compact four-quark systems and meson-meson molecules. Our results are robust and should serve to clarify the situation of charmonium spectroscopy above the threshold production of charmed mesons.
