P. G. Ortega, J. Segovia, D. R. Entem, F. Fern\'andez

TL;DR
This paper investigates the nature of the X(3872) and similar states using a coupled channel quark model, revealing the X(3872) as a mixed molecular and charmonium state consistent with experimental data.
Contribution
It introduces a coupled channel calculation combining the RGM and $^3 P_0$ models to analyze molecular states like X(3872) within a constituent quark framework.
Findings
X(3872) is a molecular state with significant $c\bar c$ component.
Good agreement with Belle and BaBar experimental data.
Discussion of other potential molecular states.
Abstract
We perform a coupled channel calculation of the and sectors in the framework of a constituent quark model. The interaction for the states is obtained using the Resonant Group Method (RGM) and the underlying quark interaction model. The coupling with the two quark system is performed using the model. The X(3872) is found as a molecular state with a sizable component. A comparison with Belle and BaBar data has been done, finding a good agreement. Other possible molecular molecular states are discussed.
