TL;DR
This paper constructs a dyon solution in an AdS black hole background and uses AdS/CFT to model a phase transition with charge condensation in a 2+1 dimensional quantum field theory.
Contribution
It introduces a novel dyon solution in a Schwarzschild-AdS background and applies holography to study phase transitions involving charge condensation.
Findings
Identification of a critical temperature for phase transition
Description of charge operator condensation below T_c
Application of holography to strongly coupled quantum systems
Abstract
We construct a dyon solution for a Yang-Mills-Higgs theory in a 4 dimensional Schwarzschild-anti-de Sitter black hole background with temperature T. We then apply the AdS/CFT correspondence to describe the strong coupling regime of a 2+1 quantum field theory which undergoes a phase transition exhibiting the condensation of a composite charge operator below a critical temperature .
