TL;DR
This paper investigates isospin breaking effects in the X(3872) resonance, explaining its decay patterns and internal structure through a coupled-channel dynamical generation model.
Contribution
It presents a novel explanation for the decay branching ratios of X(3872) and links its couplings to its wave function, enhancing understanding of its isospin structure.
Findings
The decay to J/ψ with two and three pions is nearly equal.
The X(3872) is a dynamically generated resonance in coupled channels.
The resonance's couplings relate to its wave function, clarifying its isospin composition.
Abstract
We have studied isospin breaking effects in the X(3872) resonance and found a natural explanation for the branching fraction of the X decaying to with two and three pions being close to unit. Within our framework the X(3872) is a dynamically generated resonance in coupled channels. We also study the relationship between the couplings of the resonance to the coupled channels with its wave function, which further helps us to understand the isospin structure of the resonance.
