Supersymmetric vacua of mass-deformed M2-brane theory
Hee-Cheol Kim, Seok Kim

TL;DR
This paper counts the supersymmetric vacua of a mass-deformed M2-brane theory using the Witten index, confirming gravity dual predictions for level k=1 and generalizing to other levels, with implications for non-relativistic superconformal theories.
Contribution
It provides a detailed counting of vacua via the Witten index and extends the understanding of the theory's vacua structure for arbitrary Chern-Simons levels.
Findings
For k=1, vacua count matches gravity dual predictions.
Generalized vacua counting for arbitrary k includes additional degrees.
Comments on non-relativistic superconformal theories derived from the model.
Abstract
We count the supersymmetric vacua of mass-deformed N=6 U(N)xU(N) Chern-Simons-matter theory by calculating the Witten index. When the Chern-Simons level k is 1, our result perfectly agrees with that from the gravity dual, given by partitions of N. For general k, our index generalizes partitions of N, including additional degrees. We also comment on non-relativistic superconformal theories constructed from this model.
