TL;DR
This paper explores the connection between the Witten index in supersymmetric quantum mechanics and the properties of superconducting strings derived from superstring-inspired models, providing a theoretical framework for understanding their stability.
Contribution
It establishes a novel link between supersymmetric quantum mechanics indices and superconducting string characteristics, enhancing theoretical understanding.
Findings
Witten index relates to superconducting string stability
Supersymmetric quantum mechanics models describe string interactions
New theoretical tools for analyzing superconducting strings
Abstract
The Yukawa interaction sector of superstring inspired models that give superconducting strings, can be described in terms of a supersymmetric quantum mechanics algebra. We relate the Witten index of susy quantum mechanics with an index characteristic to superconducting string models.
