TL;DR
This paper derives an explicit expression for the boundary curve separating ordered and disordered regions in the anti-ferroelectric six-vertex model with domain wall boundary conditions.
Contribution
It provides the first explicit formula for the arctic curve in the anti-ferroelectric regime of the six-vertex model with domain wall boundary conditions.
Findings
Explicit arctic curve expression derived
Clear separation between frozen and temperate zones
Advances understanding of phase boundaries in the model
Abstract
An explicit expression for the spatial curve separating the region of ferroelectric order (`frozen' zone) from the disordered one (`temperate' zone) in the six-vertex model with domain wall boundary conditions in its anti-ferroelectric regime is obtained.
