Formation & evolution of cosmic superstrings: a short review
M. Sakellariadou

TL;DR
This paper reviews the formation and evolution of cosmic superstrings within brane-world models of M-theory, highlighting their potential astrophysical implications.
Contribution
It provides a concise overview of cosmic superstrings' formation, evolution, and astrophysical consequences in the context of M-theory brane-world cosmology.
Findings
Cosmic superstrings can form in brane-world scenarios.
They have significant astrophysical consequences.
The review summarizes key aspects of their evolution.
Abstract
I will briefly review the formation and evolution of cosmic superstrings, in the context of brane-world cosmological models within M-theory. These objects can play the role of cosmic strings, offering a variety of astrophysical consequences, which I will briefly discuss.
