On Unconventional Electron Pairing In a Periodic Potential
Valentin Voroshilov

TL;DR
This paper investigates the possibility of unconventional electron pairing in a strong periodic potential, proposing a simple model Hamiltonian based on the assumption of effective attraction between electrons with the same group velocity.
Contribution
It introduces a novel model Hamiltonian to explore unconventional electron pairing mechanisms in periodic potentials, challenging traditional pairing theories.
Findings
Questions the existence of unconventional electron pairs in strong periodic potentials.
Proposes a simple Hamiltonian model for such electron pairs.
Provides theoretical insights into electron pairing phenomena.
Abstract
On the assumption that two electrons with the same group velocity effectively attract each other a simple model Hamiltonian is proposed to question the existence of unconventional electron pairs formed by electrons in a strong periodic potential.
