I.M.Narodetskii, Yu.A.Simonov, and A.I.Veselov

TL;DR
This paper investigates the stability and melting temperatures of J/psi and Upsilon quarkonia in quark-gluon plasma using a screened Coulomb potential with a non-perturbative potential derived from the Field Correlator Method.
Contribution
It introduces a novel approach combining a r-dependent coupling constant with a non-perturbative potential from FCM to analyze quarkonium properties at high temperature.
Findings
Calculated binding energies and melting temperatures for J/psi and Upsilon.
Identified temperature thresholds for quarkonium dissociation.
Provided insights into quark-gluon plasma characteristics.
Abstract
We use the screened Coulomb potential with -dependent coupling constant and the non--perturbative quark--antiquark potential derived within Field Correlator Method (FCM) to calculate and binding energies and melting temperatures in the deconfined phase of quark-gluon plasma.
