TL;DR
This paper derives a simple three-parameter formula for the ground state rotational band of deformed even-even actinide nuclei, incorporating variable moment of inertia and softness, showing good agreement with experimental data.
Contribution
It introduces a new simple three-parameter model for rotational bands that improves upon existing models by including variable moment of inertia and softness effects.
Findings
Model agrees well with experimental data
Outperforms some existing models
Simplifies calculations of rotational bands
Abstract
From Bohr-Mottelson model, a three parametric simple expression for the ground state rotational band of deformed even-even nuclei is deduced by incorporating the variable moment of inertia and the softness parameter. Our obtained results show good agreement with data in comparison with other existing models.
