Annalisa Cerquetti

TL;DR
This paper provides explicit Bayesian nonparametric analysis for a species sampling model with finitely many types, focusing on a specific Gibbs form, and complements existing analyses for other Gibbs priors.
Contribution
It introduces a new explicit analysis for a specific Gibbs form of species sampling model with finitely many types, expanding the theoretical understanding.
Findings
Derived explicit Bayesian analysis for the model
Complemented existing analyses for other Gibbs priors
Utilized a groups sequential construction of Gibbs partitions
Abstract
We derive explicit Bayesian nonparametric analysis for a species sampling model with finitely many types of Gibbs form of type recently introduced in Gnedin (2009). Our results complement existing analysis under Gibbs priors of type proposed in Lijoi et al. (2008). Calculations rely on a groups sequential construction of Gibbs partitions introduced in Cerquetti (2008).
