On Equation of State at physical quark masses
P. Petreczky

TL;DR
This paper calculates the QCD equation of state at physical quark masses using lattice simulations, compares it with previous heavier quark mass results and a resonance gas model, and discusses the deconfinement and chiral transition features.
Contribution
It provides the first calculation of the QCD equation of state at physical quark masses on fine lattices, improving the understanding of QCD thermodynamics.
Findings
QCD equation of state at physical quark masses obtained
Comparison with previous heavier mass results shows consistency
Insights into deconfinement and chiral transition characteristics
Abstract
QCD equation of state is calculated in (2+1) flavor QCD at temperatures corresponding fermion action on lattices with temporal extent . The results are compared with previous calculations performed at twice larger values of the light quark masses as well as with results obtained from the resonance gas model calculation. The deconfining and chiral aspects of the QCD transition are also discussed
