TL;DR
This paper extends the Landau-Zener tunneling formula to open quantum systems with dephasing, providing a geometric derivation for two-level systems coupled to a memoryless bath.
Contribution
It introduces a geometric approach to derive the Landau-Zener tunneling formula for dephasing open quantum systems, a novel extension of the classic theory.

Abstract
We derive an analog of the Landau-Zener adiabatic tunneling formula for an open, two-level system coupled to a memoryless, dephasing bath. The derivation rests on a geometric view of the spectral subspaces as adiabatic invariants.
