J. Vijande, A. Valcarce

TL;DR
This paper analyzes the symmetry properties of tetraquark wave functions using a variational approach, providing insights into their structure in light and heavy-light meson sectors.
Contribution
It offers a detailed symmetry analysis of tetraquark states and applies a variational method to solve for their wave functions in different meson sectors.
Findings
Symmetry properties of tetraquark wave functions elucidated.
Variational solutions obtained for simple Hamiltonians.
Insights into light and heavy-light meson tetraquark states.
Abstract
We present a detailed analysis of the symmetry properties of a four-quark wave function and its solution by means of a variational approach for simple Hamiltonians. We discuss several examples in the light and heavy-light meson sector.
