A study of the associated production of photons and b-quark jets in p-pbar collisions at sqrt{s} = 1.96 TeV
CDF collaboration

TL;DR
This paper measures the cross section of photon production with b-quark jets in proton-antiproton collisions at 1.96 TeV, providing data to compare with theoretical predictions and improve understanding of QCD processes.
Contribution
It presents the first measurement of the differential and total cross sections for photon and b-jet associated production at Tevatron energies, with comparison to NLO QCD predictions.
Findings
Measured differential cross section as a function of photon transverse energy.
Measured total cross section for photon plus b-jet production.
Comparison shows agreement or discrepancies with NLO predictions.
Abstract
The cross section for photon production in association with at least one jet containing a -quark hadron has been measured in proton antiproton collisions at TeV. The analysis uses a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 340 pb collected with the CDF II detector. Both the differential cross section as a function of photon transverse energy , (-jet)/ and the total cross section (-jet; GeV) are measured. Comparisons to a next-to-leading order prediction of the process are presented.
