TL;DR
This paper presents a simplified form of the Lorentzian Hamiltonian constraint in the Ashtekar formulation of General Relativity, achieved for a specific value of the Barbero--Immirzi parameter, enhancing theoretical understanding.
Contribution
It introduces a notably simpler and more compact expression of the Hamiltonian constraint at a particular Barbero--Immirzi parameter value, advancing the theoretical framework.
Findings
Simplified Hamiltonian constraint form identified
Achieved for a specific Barbero--Immirzi parameter value
Potential implications for quantum gravity models
Abstract
We show that within the Ashtekar formulation of General Relativity a considerably simple and compact form of the Lorentzian Hamiltonian constraint occurs for a particular value of the Barbero--Immirzi parameter.
