Podolsky Electromagnetism at Finite Temperature: Implications on Stefan-Boltzmann Law
C. A. Bonin, R. Bufalo, B. M. Pimentel, G. E. R. Zambrano

TL;DR
This paper investigates how Podolsky electromagnetism modifies the Stefan-Boltzmann law at finite temperature and uses experimental data to constrain the model's parameters.
Contribution
It introduces a Podolsky mass-dependent correction to the Stefan-Boltzmann law and derives experimental bounds on this parameter.
Findings
Podolsky electromagnetism causes a measurable modification to blackbody radiation.
Experimental data restricts the Podolsky mass parameter to specific ranges.
The modified law could impact thermodynamic and astrophysical models.
Abstract
In this work we study Podolsky electromagnetism in thermodynamic equilibrium. We show that a Podolsky mass-dependent modification to the Stefan-Boltzmann law is induced and we use experimental data to limit the possible values for this free parameter.
