M.R. Setare, Mubasher Jamil

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that the entropy of the charged rotating BTZ black hole can be described by the Cardy-Verlinde formula, linking black hole thermodynamics with conformal field theory in any dimension.
Contribution
It shows the applicability of the Cardy-Verlinde formula to the entropy of charged rotating BTZ black holes, extending its relevance to this specific black hole solution.
Findings
Entropy of charged rotating BTZ black hole matches Cardy-Verlinde formula
Supports the universality of the Cardy-Verlinde entropy relation
Links black hole thermodynamics with conformal field theory concepts
Abstract
In this paper we show that the entropy of black hole horizon in charged rotating BTZ space-time can be described by the Cardy-Verlinde formula, which is supposed to be an entropy formula of conformal field theory in any dimension.
