TL;DR
This paper explores Bianchi type V string cosmological models within general relativity, providing exact solutions for Einstein's field equations using scale transformations, and discusses their physical and geometrical properties.
Contribution
It introduces a method to solve Einstein's equations for Bianchi type V models with arbitrary scale functions, extending previous work with new exact solutions.
Findings
Einstein's field equations are solvable for any arbitrary cosmic scale function.
Exact solutions are obtained for specific forms of the cosmic scale function.
Physical and geometrical properties of the models are analyzed.
Abstract
Bianchi type V string cosmological models in general relativity are investigated. To get the exact solution of Einstein's field equations, we have taken some scale transformations followed by Camci (2001). It is shown that Einstein's field equations are solvable for any arbitrary cosmic scale function. Solution for particular form of cosmic scale functions are also obtained. Some physical and geometrical aspects of the models are discussed.
