Three-loop static potential
Alexander V. Smirnov, Vladimir A. Smirnov, Matthias Steinhauser

TL;DR
This paper calculates the three-loop corrections to the static potential between two heavy quarks, focusing on the purely gluonic part, completing the three-loop potential calculation.
Contribution
It provides the first complete three-loop static potential calculation including purely gluonic contributions, extending previous fermionic results.
Findings
Complete three-loop static potential including gluonic corrections.
Enhanced precision in heavy quark interaction modeling.
Foundation for improved quarkonium spectroscopy and QCD tests.
Abstract
We compute the three-loop corrections to the potential of two heavy quarks. In particular we consider in this Letter the purely gluonic contribution which provides in combination with the fermion corrections of Ref. \cite{Smirnov:2008pn} the complete answer at three loops.
