Time Scales and Mathematica
Artur M. C. Brito da Cruz, Helena Sofia Rodrigues, Delfim F. M. Torres

TL;DR
This paper introduces the concept of time scales, unifying continuous and discrete time models, and presents a Mathematica package to work with time scale calculus.
Contribution
It provides foundational definitions of time scale calculus and introduces a new Mathematica package for practical computations.
Findings
Unified framework for continuous and discrete time models.
Implementation of a Mathematica package for time scale calculus.
Facilitates computations in hybrid time models.
Abstract
Time scales are a model of time, where the continuous and the discrete time cases are considered and merged into the same framework. In this paper some basic definitions of the time scale calculus are presented. Simultaneously, a package in Mathematica is introduced.
